Out of Town Patients

Patients travel to take advantage of the exceptional medical care provided by our practice and the Northern Colorado medical community.  We have travelers from Cheyenne and Central & Northern Wyoming; Scottsbluff, Sidney, Kimball and other Nebraska Panhandle communities; Fort Morgan, Sterling and Eastern Colorado.

We are happy to provide you with information to better prepare for your surgery with Northern Colorado Plastic and Hand Surgery.

If you are having a surgical procedure in one of the Fort Collins hospitals or ambulatory surgery centers and receiving general anesthesia or IV sedation you will not be allowed to leave the facility on your own.  You must have an escort from the facility, an adult who will remain with you for 24 hours after your procedure.  This can be a family member or a friend, it is not required to be a medical professional.

You will not be permitted to leave in a taxi or other form of public transportation.

In the event that you come alone to Fort Collins, we can refer you to several services skilled in personal care that can provide transportation and overnight monitoring in your hotel room.  These services are provided at an extra cost and you would coordinate directly with the agency for your particular circumstance.  Please contact our office for more information.

If you are having surgery at Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies or Harmony Surgery Center, you may contact the concierge service at PVH to book discount accommodations for out of town patients.
